We are professional, award winning, wedding photographers with a passion for people and stories. Our success comes from the care and attention we put in to planning for a wedding and the unrivalled personal service we offer to every couple we meet. If you are looking for authentic and lively images of your wedding taken by photographers who put you and your plans first then we'd love to hear from you.

Our wedding photography style creates natural, clean and contemporary images of weddings. We travel near and far to work with couples to make sure their day is documented perfectly. We specialise in using natural light and minimal direction to achieve intimate and personal images of the weddings we photograph.

Our work has featured in national magazines and the press, and has attracted the attention of the wedding industry when we were awarded the Scottish Wedding Awards South East Photographer of the year 2016.

The unobtrusive, lifestyle approach we take has now expanded into maternity, newborn and family photography. We're very excited to be photographing people during milestones in their life, and we love to capture these precious moments as souvenirs to look back on in years to come.

Fern Photography is an Edinburgh wedding photography and lifestyle photography company. The owners are Matthew and Daniel. We have worked together as wedding photographers in Edinburgh since 2011, prior to that we worked as events photographers in Edinburgh and abroad. We photograph people in a natural and candid manner for our wedding photography, maternity, newborn and portrait work to present their story and the emotion when we capture the image. We're passionate about wedding photography and we love to photograph human connections, this is why we love our job. As our business and reputation has grown we have decided to share our success with other like minded photographers. From 2016 we started working with our talented associates to help document these milestone events.
