We are a local courier and light haulage specialist based in Watton at Stone, Herts, offering local and national door to door deliveries to and from the Herts, Beds and Bucks areas. We operate a professional, friendly and personal delivery service, to both the general public and business customers. Our smart, unwritten, VW Transporter van is fully insured for the carriage of goods for hire and reward, and your items for delivery are covered by our own goods in transit insurance. As an affiliate of Highway Cycles in Ware and Hertford ( www.highwaycycles.co.uk ), we have over 35 years experience delivering quality customer service. Our desire to offer the Highway Man and Van service was fired by enquiries from our customers that had purchased used bikes online, sometimes at a cost of many hundreds of pounds, and were then reluctant to trust their purchase to a multi national carrier. Instead of having the bike taken apart to be boxed, and then handled by lots of different people and left in a depot overnight, the customer would much rather have the option of a bespoke, personal delivery option, where their item was collected and delivered the same day, door to door, and handled with the utmost care. Researching the idea with our customers, we realised that there was a need for such a bespoke and individual door to door delivery service. Our aim, as we have done for many years, is to offer you, the customer, the very best in service and reliability, in a manner that is friendly and professional. If you have an item, from a small parcel or document, to a family heirloom, a special gift or gifts for Xmas or birthdays to be delivered by hand, a mobility scooter or sit on lawnmower you have bought online, or even just an item you have bought from B & Q or Wickes that won't fit in your car... please enquire with us and we will be happy to give you a quote.
